Why does my monitor keep losing signal when playing certain games?

I'm experiencing an issue with my Samsung monitor that's connected to a docking station for my laptop. Recently, while playing certain games, the video signal on my main monitor cuts in and out. Interestingly, these issues don't occur with other games, nor do they affect my secondary monitor. What can I do to resolve this?

I get where you're coming from, but it’s odd that this started happening suddenly after playing fine for so long. Have you checked for any updates for your graphics drivers or the dock itself? Sometimes a software update can fix such glitches.

It sounds like using a dock might be the culprit here. When you're gaming, especially with graphically demanding titles, connecting directly to your laptop can improve the signal quality and performance. Docks sometimes don’t handle high bandwidth video signals as well as a direct connection would. Try bypassing the dock and see if that helps!
