Why does my monitor say ‘no input signal’ when the HDMI is connected?

I'm having trouble with my monitor displaying 'no input signal' even though I've tried several HDMI cables and switched them around. I've heard some people mention that this might be related to RAM issues and suggested wiggling it, but that hasn't worked for me. I'm really at a loss here and would appreciate any insights or solutions.

Do you have a dedicated graphics card? If you’re connecting to your motherboard, check if your CPU has integrated graphics support. It might be that you need to connect it directly to the GPU instead.

Yeah, I figured it out! I had it plugged into my motherboard instead of my GPU.
