I recently assembled my PC, but now the monitor displays a 'no signal' message, followed by a low power mode warning. Can anyone explain what this means and how I can resolve the issue?

Make sure your monitor cable is securely connected to the GPU itself and not to the motherboard. If you’re using an air cooler, check if there’s any obstruction preventing the GPU from seating properly in its slot.

Right, sometimes cables can get a bit tangled or blocked by coolers, so it’s worth a double-check.

First off, you should check whether your monitor cable is connected to the motherboard or the GPU. If it’s connected to the motherboard, that could be the issue. Try plugging it directly into the GPU instead.

Could you clarify where the GPU is located in your setup?

The GPU I’m using is an RTX GeForce 4070.
