I've been experiencing a really frustrating issue with my mouse. It's super smooth on my desktop and works fine in browsers, but when I play specific games like Apex Legends or World of Warcraft, the mouse feels really off, almost like it's running at a low polling rate, even with over 200 FPS. I've tried everything, including adjusting polling rates, turning off acceleration, and disabling Windows optimization for programs. I'm at my wits' end and really need some help or ideas on how to fix this!

I had a similar problem in Battlefield 6 due to that precision pointing setting being enabled while the game had raw input on. If you're on Windows 11, it might be worth checking the old control panel mouse settings instead of the newer settings.
Check which USB port your mouse is connected to. Sometimes switching ports can resolve these kinds of issues.
Given how detailed your post is, the most relatable response might just be: that really sucks, man!
What mouse model are you using? Sometimes software like Logitech G-hub or Razer Synapse can create per-game settings that mess with your experience.
Have you tried using a different mouse? It could be that the one you have is having compatibility issues.
