I just got my hands on a new 27-inch LG QHD IPS monitor (model 27U631A-B), and I'm trying to set it to 100Hz. Here's where I'm stuck: when I select 100Hz, the resolution drops down to 800x600 instead of staying at 1440p. My setup includes an Acer Intel Arc B580 GPU with up-to-date drivers, a Ryzen 7 7700 processor, and 64GB of RAM. I've got four monitors connected, two of which are 1080p and plugged into the motherboard's display ports. Any ideas on how to keep the resolution at 1440p while using 100Hz?

First off, check if your GPU drivers are correctly installed and ensure that the monitor is connected directly to your GPU rather than the motherboard. After setting it to 100Hz, can you still switch it back to 1440p in your display settings?
800x600? Now that’s a blast from the past! Try disconnecting all other monitors and just have this LG connected to the GPU. If you can get it to work at 1440p @ 100Hz with only this monitor connected, it might rule out any incompatibility issues with the other displays.
I already disconnected everything and rebooted, but no luck. I went through the User Manual too, and it confirms that 2560x1440 @ 100Hz should be supported. Maybe it’s the display cable that’s causing issues?
Yep, I'm positive that the drivers are good and the monitor is plugged into the GPU. I can select 1440p, but it switches back to 60Hz.
