Why Does My PC Blackout When I Play Roblox?

Whenever I play Roblox with my girlfriend, my PC crashes and blacks out, which really bums me out since we can't play games together very often. Here are my PC specs and the games I typically play:
- Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4790 CPU @ 3.60GHz
- Video Card: Radeon RX 580 Series
- Operating System: Windows 10
- RAM: 16 GB

I usually play games like Grow a Garden, My Fishing Pier, Tycoons, and Dress to Impress. Can anyone help me figure out what's causing these crashes?

It sounds like a heat issue might be the culprit. Make sure your fans are working properly and that your CPU and GPU have sufficient cooling. Since your PC is a bit older, you might want to check and possibly replace the thermal paste on your CPU and GPU. Also, consider using a temperature monitoring tool to see if your components are getting too hot. If they're around or over 90°C, that's probably what's causing your problems. Dust buildup can also block airflow, so keep that in mind!

I checked my temperatures and they’re around 75°C. Also, how do you know my computer's age? I'm just getting into this PC stuff!

I can run other games like Elden Ring and even GTA 5 pretty smoothly at 78°C, so it's strange that Roblox crashes.

You might want to think about upgrading to Windows 11 since Windows 10 is nearing its end of life. When your PC blacks out, does everything shut down completely, or just the screen? If just the screen goes black, try pressing Win + Shift + Ctrl + B to see if that brings it back without needing a full restart.

When it blacks out, my monitor goes black, but the PC stays on. It won’t load anything until I turn it off and back on. I’ll try that shortcut if it happens again!
