I'm experiencing a frustrating issue with Titanfall 2 where my PC freezes and restarts whenever a new map is loading, especially when my CPU usage spikes. I've tried using MSI Afterburner to limit the power, which helps a bit but doesn't fix the problem entirely. My CPU and GPU temperatures are around 60 and 50 degrees Celsius respectively when this happens, so I don't think overheating is the issue. The Windows Event Viewer shows error 41 (kernel power) as the cause, but I can't replicate the crash in any other game. Since my PC is a prebuilt system that's about five years old, I suspect the power supply unit (PSU) might be at fault, especially since it has no brand labels. Is there a way to simulate the CPU spikes in Titanfall 2 to see if I can reproduce this issue, and what might be the best steps to possibly resolve it?

It sounds like the issue could be related to overcurrent protection kicking in. This might happen if the GPU isn't getting enough power. What GPU and PSU are you using? Also, did you make sure to use separate PCIe power cables for your GPU? That could be a factor here.
I have an RTX 2080 Super in my prebuilt Predator Orion 5000 from 2020. Not sure about the PSU specifics, but it’s an Acer OEM unit. Can that really lead to these restarts?
