Hi everyone! I've been dealing with a frustrating issue where my PC has been restarting on its own for the past three months. I took it to a repair shop, but they couldn't replicate the problem—I think they just ran some tests and it didn't act up for them. One weird thing is that it doesn't restart when I'm playing games, so I usually keep one running in the background to avoid the restarts. I suspect there might be an electricity issue in my house, but I'm not sure how to confirm that. I've also reset my AMD drivers, but they occasionally crash. I'm wondering if this is a hardware or software problem and if anyone has any suggestions or insights. Thanks!

Have you checked your event viewer logs at the time of the restarts? Those logs can show what's going wrong. The last time I checked, they indicated driver failures coinciding with the restarts, which could point to a software issue.
It sounds like it could be related to your power settings. Try disabling all power-saving features across your devices. If you’d like, you can keep a command prompt open with 'ping -t google.com' running; it keeps your system active like a game would. Just remember to shut down your PC manually from now on! If you want to use power-saving options, stick to standby instead of sleep or suspend. Good luck!
I switched from balanced to high performance and turned off the game in the background. Let's see if that helps with the restarts.

I stopped checking those after my visit to the shop. The technician didn't find anything abnormal, but I did see some driver failures before.
