I've been facing a weird issue with my PC where it randomly shuts down. This started happening about a month after I installed my new 9070xt graphics card. Initially, I thought the problem could be tied to the power strip I was using, but even after plugging it directly into the wall, the shutdowns still occur, though it's less frequent now. Today, the PC completely turned off, and moving the case made it power back on. I'm leaning towards a faulty power supply as the cause, but I'd love to hear your thoughts on this. Here are my specs:
- CPU: 7800x3d
- RAM: Corsair 6000MHz 32GB DDR5
- GPU: 9070 XT Steel Legend
- PSU: Gigabyte GP-P750GM 750W
I know my power supply has had issues in the past, but I replaced it after the previous models had their problems fixed. Thanks for any help!

Have you checked the temperatures? If they're normal, it's pretty likely the power supply is the issue. Those can be tricky!
I've had a similar issue! Does it shut off only during gaming or even when you're doing lighter tasks? If it goes completely dark, that points to a power supply failure. Also, if moving the case helps, there might be a loose connection somewhere. Make sure everything is seated properly, especially the GPU.
It can shut off while watching videos too. It mostly goes off completely but usually restarts on its own. I had it happen today while gaming just in a lobby, but it also happens more often when watching videos. I even propped up the GPU a bit thinking it might be sagging.
Yeah, I checked the temps during a gaming session, and they were fine. No FPS drops or stutters either, even when idling.
