Why does my PC lose display right after posting?

I'm experiencing a frustrating issue with my PC. When I power it on, the GPU fans spin at full speed, and the system posts, but shortly after that, I lose the display. This problem started after I replaced the thermal paste on my Powercolor Red Dragon RX 6800 XT. Initially, I switched the BIOS from Silent to OC mode, and everything seemed fine, but the fans were too loud, so I changed it back to Silent. Now, when I try to boot up, I encounter this display issue. I think my power supply is fine, since it was working well earlier today. Has anyone else dealt with this before? Additionally, I noticed that when I use HDMI, I can briefly access Windows, but not long enough to do anything useful.

It sounds like your GPU might not be seated properly, or perhaps the Adrenaline software is acting up. Have you tried taking the GPU out and reseating it? Sometimes even a tiny misalignment can cause these issues. Also, consider reinstalling your drivers just to rule out any corruption.

I’ve actually reseated the GPU multiple times, and it's definitely in there securely. I even booted with a different GPU and did a full cleanup of the Adrenaline software and used DDU to remove old drivers, but the display issue persists.
