I'm facing a frustrating issue with my PC where it only boots up about 50% of the time and gets stuck on the boot light. When it does manage to boot, everything runs smoothly; I'm playing Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 on mostly max settings at 144fps without any issues. I've already tried re-seating the GPU, RAM, and power cables on the motherboard, and I've tested my RAM and SSD, both of which came back fine. Here are my specs:
- Motherboard: ASRock B850 Pro-A WiFi
- GPU: Asus Tuf 4080S
- CPU: 9800X3D
- SSD: Samsung 990 Pro
- PSU: Corsair RM850e
- RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR5-6000 (2x16)
- OS: Windows 11
Any advice would really be appreciated!

It sounds like you might want to take a close look at the CPU. I've had a similar situation where overheating could have caused it, so unhooking the cooler to check for any damage might be wise. Some ASRock motherboards have had issues with X3D chips, so updating the BIOS could help stabilize things too.
Have you thought about reducing your RAM frequency to 5800 instead of running it at 6000? Sometimes that can stabilize boot issues.
Try lowering your display resolution to 60 or 75Hz when it does boot. It might help reduce the issues you're having with the multiple boots. If it works fine at a lower resolution, then you may need to check your monitor setup and its capabilities.
I'll try updating my bios to 3.2.
