Why Does My PC Only Boot with the GPU Disconnected?

I'm facing an issue where my PC will only successfully boot when I disconnect the GPU from the power supply. It works fine with integrated graphics, but as soon as I try to power the GPU, it just won't boot. I'm using an MSI A750GL PSU and a Sapphire 9060XT GPU. Any ideas on what might be going wrong?

It sounds like your PSU might not be providing enough power for both the CPU and GPU. Have you checked the power specifications for both? A 750-watt PSU should generally be enough, but it depends on the total draw. Your GPU takes about 160-180 watts, and if your CPU peaks at 140 watts, that could be pushing your PSU to its limits.

Yeah, I understand that. My PSU is also 750 watts, and I've had to make sure it can handle everything. Maybe it's worth double-checking all connections and ensuring everything is properly seated too.

Make sure you're connecting your HDMI cable to the GPU instead of the motherboard when the GPU is installed. It can be easy to overlook, but it's important to get the output from the right source!

I double-checked, and the HDMI is connected to the GPU. Still no luck when powering it up with the GPU.
