Why Does My PC Only Power Up After Two Button Presses?

Hey everyone! I recently built a new PC using an MSI MAG X870 Tomahawk motherboard and an NZXT H7 Flow case. I've noticed a strange issue where the system will only power up after I press the power button twice. If I unplug it or switch off the PSU, it seems to work with just one press. Is this a BIOS setting issue, or could there be some fault with my setup? I'd really appreciate any insights!

I haven't tracked this down completely, but I had a similar issue with an older X570 motherboard. I noticed that my RAM struggled with higher frequencies. What could help is waiting a little after your first press—like five minutes. My old Aorus board would reset the BIOS automatically when it detected RAM issues and then boot up fine. Also, you might want to try booting with just one stick of RAM to see if that changes anything.

I can try waiting a bit after the first press. Does your PC respond at all after the first push? I haven’t overclocked mine, and it just sits there unresponsive.
