Why Does My PC Randomly Freeze While Gaming?

I've been experiencing random freezes with my PC while playing games, especially Final Fantasy XIV, and during Discord calls. The freezes last about 10-15 seconds. My specs are: an AMD Ryzen 7 7800x3D CPU, Gigabyte Aorus X670-E ICE motherboard, 64GB of G.SKILL Trident Z5 RAM, an ASUS ROG Strix 4080 Super GPU, a 4TB Crucial NVME SSD, and a be quiet! 1200w PSU. I checked the Event Viewer, but there are no warnings or errors logged during these freezes. I've already reseated my GPU, reinstalled the drivers, and cleaned the system. Notably, I've noticed my CPU temperature drops from 71C to 64C during these freezes. Any suggestions for further troubleshooting? Also, I use a 3440x1440 monitor alongside an LG Dualup as a second screen and a Y70 as a third display.

Since you're on Windows 11, it could be a sync issue. Have you checked your display settings? Sometimes the refresh rate settings can cause problems during intense actions in games.

I'm using Win 11. How do I check for sync issues?

Have you tried running a benchmark test to see if the freezes occur there too? It might help identify whether it's a hardware issue or something else.

What kind of benchmark would you suggest? Cinebench perhaps?

Yeah, Cinebench is a good option! It's worked well for me without any freezes.
