Why Does My PC Randomly Restart While Gaming?

I'm experiencing a problem where my PC randomly crashes and instantly restarts while gaming. Initially, I thought the issue was with the extension box for my power supply and monitor, since my wall doesn't have a 16A socket for the PSU. I swapped out my old, faulty extension, but the issue persists; although now I can game a bit longer before it turns off. Additionally, I keep getting a Kernel Power 41 error, which seems related to the power supply. What could be the underlying problem and how can I fix it?

It sounds like the Kernel Power 41 error might be an indication of a faulty power supply or inadequate power delivery. Make sure your PSU is sufficient for your build, especially since you're using a high-performance GPU like the RX 6650 XT. Also, check if all connections are secure and consider testing with a different PSU if you have one available.

One thing to check is whether your RAM is properly seated and if there are any issues with it. Sometimes, faulty RAM can cause random shutdowns. Run a memory diagnostic test, and if possible, test your RAM sticks one at a time.

I get that it can be frustrating, but when seeking help, it's best to provide as much detail as possible. Your description helps, but consider mentioning temperatures or whether you notice any patterns when the crashes happen. Optimizing your cooling might also help if overheating is a factor.
