I recently upgraded my CPU and motherboard, and now Windows is prompting me to activate the software again. I know I can log into the Microsoft account I originally used to purchase it, but it's forcing me to convert my local account into a Microsoft account. I'm looking for alternatives—are there any ways to activate Windows without going through this Microsoft account process?
