Why Does My PC Say I Have No Storage Available Despite Free Space?

I'm in a bit of a pickle with my PC lately. It runs games like God of War smoothly enough (with just a few freezes), but I've been having real trouble opening the file manager. I noticed that my system shows 0 GB storage available and over 4.25 TB used, which seems odd since I actually have 113 GB free on my C drive and around 200 GB on my other drives. Is the lack of reported storage why my PC is running slow? Also, could this be a software issue, or is it time to consider a hardware upgrade since my PC is getting a bit old?

It might help to share a screenshot of your storage info. It could really clarify things for folks trying to help you out. Usually, people post those on imgur and drop the link here.
