I built my PC a few months ago, but I dropped something on the first motherboard and damaged the CPU pins. It worked for a while with just one stick of RAM but would randomly shut off. After a couple of months, I replaced the motherboard, and it would boot with two sticks of RAM; however, it still cuts off after only a few minutes. I did some research and thought it might be a power supply issue, so I replaced the PSU, but the problem persists. Does anyone have any ideas on what could be causing this?

Have you checked if everything is properly connected? Sometimes a loose cable can cause these issues. Also, if you suspect the power supply, make sure it's rated correctly for your setup. If all else fails, you could try booting with minimal components to see if a specific part is causing the shut down.
It sounds like a tricky situation! If your PC shuts down after just a few minutes, it might be related to overheating or even a power-saving feature kicking in. First, you should check if the CPU is overheating. Make sure the CPU cooler is properly seated and that the thermal paste is applied correctly. Also, try running a memory test to see if the RAM is functioning as it should. Sometimes, using just one stick of RAM can help isolate the issue. Let us know if that helps!
I agree with checking the CPU temps. When you built it, did you make sure the fans are running properly? If your CPU is getting too hot, it can cause the system to shut down to prevent damage. If it stays on for 5-10 minutes, that’s a little too long for power saving, so it’s probably not that. You might want to check if the shutdown happens with just one stick of RAM too.
