Hey everyone! I'm having an unusual issue with my gaming PC. It completely powers off while I'm playing Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 after about 10 to 20 minutes of gameplay, and there's no warning—no BSOD or shutdown sequence, just an instant cut-off. Here are my specs:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5700X
- GPU: MSI Radeon RX 6750 XT
- RAM: 32 GB Corsair Vengeance
- Storage: Samsung 990 Evo 1TB NVMe SSD
- PSU: Corsair RM850
I've already replaced the PSU and SSD, and upgraded my RAM, but the problem persists. I can run other demanding games like Cyberpunk 2077 and stress tests like Prime95 and FurMark without issues, so it seems limited to just MSFS. I've logged performance stats while the shutdown happens but can't pinpoint the issue. Anyone have ideas on what might be causing this? Thanks!

The event log 6008 typically points to an unexpected shutdown. Since your system doesn't show any Kernel-Power errors or driver issues leading up to this, it might be a hardware quirk with MSFS specifically. Have you tried running a tool that gathers system logs? It might reveal more!
Thanks for the tip! Just ran it and here's my profile link: [Profile](https://spec-ify.com/profile/ad3552ff). Let me know if you see anything useful!
Sounds like a cooling issue if the shutdowns only happen with MSFS. Maybe try adding more case fans to improve airflow or even exploring liquid cooling solutions. Your GPU hotspot temps are pretty high—it could be hitting a thermal threshold and causing the shutdown!
You might want to try checking for minidump files in the C:WindowsMinidump folder after the shutdowns. They can give us insights into what's happening under the hood. If you find any, consider zipping them up and uploading them somewhere like Mediafire for further analysis. It's pretty central for troubleshooting BSOD issues!
I recommend using the tool from Spec-ify to gather detailed logs about your OS and hardware for more insights. Just download the tool, run it, and it’ll create a report you can share with us! It can help troubleshoot this frustrating issue! Here's the link: [spec-ify.com](https://spec-ify.com/download).
