I've built my own PC and I'm running Windows 11 on it. To be honest, I'm not the most experienced with this stuff. I tend to leave my PC on most of the time and just turn off my monitor when I'm not using it. However, I've noticed that when I come back and turn my monitor on, my PC is sometimes completely off—this happens about 2 out of 10 times. Restarting it can be a bit of a hassle too. Often when I turn it back on, it won't boot up normally. I see the lights and fans turning on, but nothing shows up on my monitor. The only way to sometimes coax it back is by spamming the Delete key to get into the BIOS, but even that doesn't work all the time. Sometimes I just end up button smashing on my keyboard until it finally boots up—which can take several attempts. Any ideas on why this might be happening?

It could help to change some BIOS settings. Make sure to disable anything related to ‘Fast Boot’ and also turn off sleep and hibernate features. They can cause problems with how your PC wakes up from idle.
Just a heads up, if you don't see anything about Fast Boot in your BIOS, that might be specific to your motherboard model, so keep an eye out for similar settings.
You might want to check your power settings. In particular, disabling the fast startup option can sometimes help with boot issues like yours. Just go into your power settings and look for that option.
I think fast startup is already turned off, but thanks for the suggestion!

I haven't changed anything in my BIOS yet. I'll give that a try and see if it helps!
