I've been experiencing issues with my PC shutting down unexpectedly when I try to launch games like Call of Duty, Marvel Rivals, and Overwatch 2. The shutdown happens after the temperatures hit around 80 degrees Celsius, particularly during shader downloads before the games actually start. Interestingly, I played Resident Evil 3 for about 8 hours without any shutdowns, even though my temps were also around 70-80°C during that time. I recently factory reset my system and didn't have any issues running the games prior to that. My setup includes a 5060 Ti, 7800x3d CPU, 32GB of RAM, a B650E-E motherboard, and I'm using a Kraken 240 AIO cooler.

Quick question for you: when it shuts down, does it completely cut off, like all fans stop, or does the screen just go black but you still hear fans running? If it cuts off completely, you might be dealing with a power supply problem, possibly too weak or defective. What model do you have? If it just blacks out with fans still running, it may be a GPU issue, like crashing drivers or faulty hardware.
Hey there! I had a similar shutdown issue with my 2080 Super. The fix that worked for me was to undervolt my GPU using MSI Afterburner. I recommend doing it while your graphics card is idle so you don’t factor in boost clock speeds. Check out some YouTube tutorials; it’s pretty straightforward. Just lower the voltage gradually until your system stops crashing. However, be aware that it might affect performance, so it’s a temporary fix. If you keep crashing, there could be another underlying problem, like overheating around your power connectors. Good luck!
Thanks, I'll give it a try! I suspect overheating might be the issue, but I'm still troubleshooting.

It completely shuts off, no display or fans. I have a new Seasonic 850 watt power supply that I got with my build from Microcenter.
