Hey folks, I'm dealing with a frustrating issue on my desktop PC where it restarts on its own at random times. This isn't linked to any specific programs or games, as it can happen completely out of the blue. I checked the Windows compatibility history, and it points to the program ntoskrnl.exe with the error code 0x00000101. I've heard that this could be due to a driver problem, but I've already done a safe and clean reinstall of my drivers, and the problem still persists. Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Have you checked if your PC is overclocked? Sometimes, even a small overclock can lead to instability. If you're running the XMP profile, that should be fine, but just be cautious and ensure nothing else is overclocked.
You can also open Task Manager to check your CPU, GPU, RAM, and SSD usage with nothing else running in the background. This might help identify if there's a resource bottleneck causing the issue. Sometimes, high usage can lead to unexpected restarts.
I checked, and everything is running within normal parameters.
Have you thought about reinstalling Windows? You could do a reset and choose not to save your files. It might help clear out any lingering issues, especially if you've recently reinstalled it with the same problems still showing.
Yeah, I just reinstalled Windows recently, though. I'm not sure if I want to go through that again right now.
You might want to check if your system has an Intel processor. If it does, I recommend running the Intel Processor Diagnostic Tool to see if it identifies any issues. Just go to the Intel support website for the tool. It can help pinpoint problems with the CPU that might be causing these restarts.
Actually, I have an AMD Ryzen 5 5500, so that might not apply to me.

No overclocking here, just the XMP profile is enabled.
