Why does my PS5 get so loud when playing graphic-intensive games?

I've noticed that my PS5 runs perfectly fine without overheating or shutting down, but when I play games that are graphically demanding, the fan speed increases significantly, making the console much louder compared to when I'm playing lighter titles. Is this normal?

If you're really into customizing fan speeds, maybe think about building a PC with some high-quality fans instead.

Yeah, and remember that dust buildup over time can force the fans to work even harder to keep things cool. It might be a good idea to clean it out occasionally.

That's just how it operates! When the system has a higher load, it generates more heat, which causes the fans to speed up to keep everything cool.

Totally normal! The console is designed that way. More load means more heat, and the fans work harder to cool it down.
