I'm encountering a weird issue with my USB Wi-Fi adapter on Windows. It doesn't show up in Device Manager or list any available networks when I first power on my PC. The only time it starts working is after I completely restart my computer, at which point Windows detects it normally. I've already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers, using different USB ports, and adjusting power settings, but nothing seems to fix the problem. Interestingly, my previous adapter had the same issue, so I'm unsure whether it's a Windows problem, a driver issue, or something with my PC itself. Has anyone dealt with this before or have any suggestions for a permanent fix that doesn't involve formatting my PC? Thanks in advance!

You might want to check if there are specific USB drivers available from your PC's manufacturer or the motherboard manufacturer if you built it yourself. It's also a good idea to download the drivers for your Wi-Fi adapter directly from the manufacturer’s site, rather than relying on the ones Windows installs automatically. And to avoid any issues, make sure you're doing full shutdowns instead of just putting it to sleep.
Have you looked into the power management settings? Go to Computer Management and check under properties. Sometimes, there’s an option that allows the system to turn off the device to save power, which can cause issues. You might need to uncheck that to see if it helps.
