Why Does Thunar Keep Opening on Boot?

I'm using Linux Mint with XFCE, and for some reason, the Thunar file manager starts up automatically every time I boot my system. I have checked my saved sessions and the application autostart settings, and it doesn't appear to be listed anywhere as a startup program. I'm puzzled because it keeps opening tabs without me having configured it to do so. Can anyone help me figure this out?

Always useful to mention your distro and other hardware details when asking for help! It helps diagnose issues much quicker. In your case, it might be a quirk with XFCE, so keep an eye on your session settings.

It sounds like Thunar might be launching due to a configuration somewhere. Remember that Thunar is the file manager for XFCE, not Cinnamon. Just double-check if you’ve installed XFCE fully or if any leftover settings are causing this. Normally, it shouldn't open by itself unless it's been set to do so.
