Why does Windows Update say I can’t upgrade to Windows 11 even though PC Health Check says I can?

I'm primarily a Linux user and I'm confused about something regarding my Windows machine. The PC Health Check tool is showing that I meet all the requirements for upgrading to Windows 11, like having Secure Boot and TPM 2.0 enabled. However, when I check Windows Update, it's telling me that my PC doesn't meet the necessary requirements for the update. I've also updated my BIOS to the latest version, but I'm at a loss for what else to try.

What type of processor are you using? Sometimes specific CPUs can cause compatibility issues. If you share that, it might help narrow down the problem.

I have an i5-11400H in my Acer AN515-57. I attached a screenshot for reference.

You could give the Windows Update Assistant a try. Head to the Microsoft Windows download page, find the Update Assistant, and run that. If that doesn't work, you can create a bootable USB with the Windows ISO using Rufus. That has helped others in similar situations.
