I recently decided to switch back to Windows after getting frustrated with Linux. I used the official ISO from Microsoft for installation, and while everything else functions perfectly, Bluetooth refuses to detect any devices. I have a WO4 Trycoo 5500U mini PC, and I've tried reinstalling the Bluetooth drivers, but they still can't find anything. I know the devices are working because they connect with my phone just fine, and they connected immediately when I tested them on Linux. Each time I attempt to install a new Bluetooth driver, it just reverts back to the generic Microsoft driver. I've been advised to try the Lenovo RTL8852BE Bluetooth driver, but it doesn't seem to work either, as it just reinstalls the generic version. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Just a heads up, sometimes the hardware may require additional drivers that aren't included in the standard installation package. Since you mentioned using an ISO, make sure that all optional updates are installed in Windows Update, as they can contain important drivers. You might also want to check if your Bluetooth device is enabled in the BIOS settings, just to rule that out!
It sounds like you're facing a classic compatibility issue. First, check if there's an updated driver from the manufacturer's website for your Bluetooth device specifically. Windows often defaults to its own generic drivers, which might not support all features. Also, you could try uninstalling the current Bluetooth driver completely, then rebooting your machine, which should prompt Windows to detect it again and hopefully pull the correct driver this time. Let us know if this helps!
I would suggest disabling any power-saving features for your Bluetooth device. Sometimes Windows tries to conserve energy and disables it, making detection more difficult. You can usually find these in the Device Manager under the properties of the Bluetooth device. If you still run into issues, checking for Windows updates to ensure you're running the latest version could also help.
