I'm having trouble with Google Chrome not appearing as an app on my Windows system. I've already configured my Gmail settings to allow notifications and have it open, but I still don't receive desktop notifications for new emails. Plus, without Chrome showing up, I can't adjust any settings related to it. What can I do to fix this?

I had a similar problem once! Sometimes, apps don't show up due to permissions issues. You might want to check Windows settings to see if Chrome has permission to run in the background. Also, look under 'Notifications & actions' in the Windows settings to ensure notifications for Chrome are enabled. That could solve the notification issue.
It sounds like Chrome might not be properly installed. Have you checked if it's showing in the Start menu? If you installed it, it should appear there. If you still can't find it, try reinstalling again, and make sure to download it directly from Google's website. That might help resolve the issue.
