Why is KDE Plasma Display Not Filling the Screen Properly?

I'm having a frustrating issue with KDE Plasma on several distros. While Gnome and Cinnamon work flawlessly, KDE Plasma seems to have trouble displaying correctly. My desktop cuts off on the left side, and on the right side, the display doesn't go all the way to the edge of the monitor. I've checked my screen resolution, and it's set correctly to 1920x1080 (16:9). I don't know how to fix this, especially since it only happens with KDE Plasma. Any suggestions would be super helpful!

Have you checked what distro you're using? I see some people have issues with certain versions. It might help to provide your system specs too!

Have you tried switching between X11 and Wayland sessions? Sometimes that can resolve display issues in Plasma.

I haven't tried that yet. What’s the difference, and how do I switch?
