I'm having some temperature issues with my Intel 14600KF. Typically, it runs around 70 degrees Celsius while gaming and jumps to about 80 degrees with Cinebench, which isn't a big deal. However, I occasionally see it spike into the 90s for just a split second—even during less demanding gaming moments. I've already reseated the cooler and applied a generous amount of thermal paste (MX6), but the problem persists. I notice it happens more frequently when I'm playing Helldivers 2. I'm using a Deepcool AK400 Zero Dark Plus cooler that's rated for 220W and running the fans at 70%. During Cinebench, it pulls about 155W and roughly 100W while gaming. Any ideas why I keep getting these temperature spikes? They're messing with the min/max readings in HW Monitor and it's really frustrating. Thanks for your help!

It sounds like your Intel chip is just running hot. You might want to consider upgrading to a dual tower cooler, like the Thermalright PS120. Also, instead of running your fan at a constant speed, try setting a fan curve in your BIOS. This way, the fans will ramp up when temperatures get higher, which should help manage those spikes better.
I get that, but you might want to let the fans adjust more dynamically to the temps rather than keeping it at a fixed speed.
