Why Is My 4080 Super GPU Not Being Detected?

I just completed my first PC build using some older components from around 2016, specifically an X99 Classified motherboard from EVGA. After setting everything up and updating the BIOS, I noticed that my primary GPU, the 4080 Super, isn't being detected at all, while my secondary GPU, the 3060Ti, is functioning without issues. I'm looking for any tips or advice to troubleshoot and get my 4080 Super working. For context, it's securely seated, and the RGB lights are on, indicating it has power. Any suggestions?

Try booting with only the 4080 Super installed in PCIe Slot 1. This should help your BIOS to detect it properly.

It sounds like you're using both the 4080 Super and 3060 Ti. Can I ask what processor you've got? I remember a friend with an X99 board had issues with certain CPUs where some PCIe slots wouldn't work due to limited PCIe lanes. What slots are your GPUs in? When you mention that the 3060 Ti works, do you mean you're connected to the 4080 Super but only see the 3060 Ti in Task Manager? It might help to clarify what 'works' means in your case.
