I've been struggling with underwhelming performance in a few games lately. Upon checking GPU-Z, I discovered that my 5070Ti is only operating on PCIe x1 instead of the expected x16. Curiously, my Timespy scores seem above average for this graphics card. Should I be concerned about this PCIe lane limitation being the cause of my issues, or is it something I shouldn't worry about?

When you checked in GPU-Z, was there any load on the GPU? Sometimes it defaults to x1 at idle to save power, which might make it look like it’s not using all the lanes. Try running a render test and see if it changes.
Is your GPU in the topmost slot of your motherboard? It really needs to be in that slot to utilize the x16 lanes fully.
Yes, it’s in the correct spot.
What slot do you have your GPU installed in? It’s important to check that it’s in the correct motherboard slot to get the full performance potential.
I’ve got it in the first slot closest to the CPU (B650M HDV). Not sure if there’s another one I could use.
I did check with the 'render test' in GPU-Z, and it still showed x1.
