I need some technical support for my Acer Nitro 5 laptop that isn't booting properly. After letting the battery fully discharge, it won't power back on like it should. When I hit the power button, the power LED lights up for around 4 to 5 seconds before the laptop shuts off completely. The screen stays black, and there's no keyboard backlight or logo visible. The charging LED does stay on while I'm plugged in, but I've tried everything I can think of—charging it for close to an hour without power, performing a long power drain, and trying to power it on with all external devices removed, even connecting it to an external display. I've seen a slight change in the power LED behavior: it used to stay on for about 2 seconds after I reset it, but now it's lasting longer before shutting off. There's been no visible liquid damage or physical impacts, and the laptop didn't overheat before this problem started. I'm looking for insights into what might be wrong, like RAM failure, BIOS issues, battery protection behavior, or motherboard problems.

Honestly, I'd be cautious with Acer laptops. I've had terrible experiences with them myself, and I hope this isn't a sign of a failing motherboard for you, especially right after it's been fully drained.
Sounds like you might have installed a buggy BIOS update. That happened to a lot of people with Acer laptops. There’s a specific fix that helped a lot of users—you should check out this link where it’s explained in detail.
If you're out of warranty and up for it, try disconnecting and reconnecting the battery. Just make sure you find the exact disassembly guide for your Nitro 5 model before you start messing around with it.
