I've been having a frustrating issue with my audio on Windows 11. It suddenly stopped working, and when I tried to start the Windows Audio services in the services panel, I got an error 1068 saying it can't start the audio services. My headset connects to the PC since I see the pop-up notification, but there's nothing listed in the devices tab. I've looked up potential fixes for the error, but none seem to work. Can anyone help me figure this out?

Does your sound work without headphones, like using built-in speakers if you have them? Sometimes the issue might be related to specific audio devices. Also, can you confirm if this problem started after you installed any updates recently? That could be useful info for troubleshooting.
Have you tried restarting your PC? It's a simple fix that sometimes works wonders for sound issues.
The error you're seeing usually indicates that a required service, like the Windows Audio Endpoint Builder, isn't running. Go check the Services panel and make sure that Windows Audio and the RPC service are running. You might have to start the Endpoint Builder, but I know that can sometimes lead to other errors, too.
RPC is running, but when I try to start the Windows Audio Endpoint Builder, I get error 1297.

Yes, I've restarted multiple times, but it hasn't helped.
