Why is my C: drive suddenly full after installing a game?

I recently installed Wuthering Waves, but I noticed that my C: drive has suddenly filled up by 12GB, even though I specifically installed the game on my E: drive. I'm not sure what's taking up all that space and how to clear it. Can anyone help?

You might want to check something like WiTec to figure out what's munching on your disk space. Also, remember to clean out your downloads folder every so often since it tends to pile up quickly!

I recommend installing WinDirStat; it's super handy for seeing which files are taking up the most space on your PC!

What’s the size of your drive?

It's 110GB, but I've got other games on it too. Now there’s only 2GB left!

Even if you install a game on E: drive, some data might still end up on the C: drive depending on how the game is designed. You could try using tools like WizTree or TreeSize to see what's consuming space on your C: drive.
