Why is my CPU Overheating and How Can I Fix It?

I've got a pretty solid setup: an Intel Core i9 14900K unlocked, an Asus TUF Gaming Z790-Plus WiFi motherboard, an Asus GeForce RTX 4060 with 8GB VRAM, 64GB of Corsair Vengeance DDR5 RAM, and a Corsair AIO cooler (not sure which model). I also have 6TB of storage and a Corsair RM850e ATX power supply. My problem is that my CPU runs really hot when playing games like The Last of Us Part II, Call of Duty BO6, and Marvel Rivals. I've searched through tons of forums and videos trying to figure this out, but nothing has worked. I even updated my BIOS! Does anyone have suggestions for fixing this overheating issue?

Yeah, is it an H100X RGB Elite? That cooler's generally good, but sometimes it's about how everything's set up in your case. Make sure the fans are configured right and you're getting good airflow in and out of the case.

Your CPU temps are pretty high. While playing TLOU, you're hitting around 85-99 degrees Celsius, and COD is not much better at 80-90. You could be experiencing airflow issues or maybe the cooler isn't mounted correctly. Have you checked your AIO cooler model and fan configuration? Sometimes the problem can be as simple as poor case ventilation or not enough thermal paste.
