I have a Dell Inspiron 5402 with 8GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD (currently 200+ GB free). My laptop consistently takes 50 seconds to boot up. I hear the Windows 11 startup sound around the 10-second mark, but then it goes to a black screen until the lock screen appears at the 50-second mark. I've already disabled all of my startup apps. Any ideas on what's causing this?

Do you run a dual boot setup or have you disabled fast boot? That could be the reason for the delay. Personally, I've noticed a longer loading screen when I disable fast boot on my dual boot system. But honestly, if it’s under a minute, it’s generally not something to worry about unless it starts taking over two minutes!
It could be related to memory testing during boot. My gaming laptop with an SSD and i9 processor takes longer to boot than my older machines with just 8GB or 16GB of RAM. In some cases, more powerful setups can be slower at booting!
Are you using features like fast boot, hibernation, or hybrid boot? Sometimes these can extend the boot time if the hibernation file is being streamed back into memory during startup.
It sounds like your laptop might be getting stuck on a driver issue, or your BIOS boot settings might not be set to quick boot. Also, if it has DDR5 memory, it may be doing some memory training, which could slow things down a bit.
