Hey everyone! I've been experiencing some frustrating slowdowns on my desktop since a few days ago. I really think the rainy weather might be linked to the problem—it's happened before. Usually, I can fix it by unplugging and plugging back the power cable or using a hair dryer to warm it up before booting, but that's not working this time. After logging in, my desktop runs super sluggish, the FPS is really low, and the task manager shows that neither the CPU nor GPU is heavily loaded. Also, I keep seeing a Windows Modules Installer (tiworker) taking up 10% of my CPU whenever I reboot. Could this be causing the issues? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Sounds like tiworker might be stuck, which is part of Windows Update. It doesn't really have anything to do with warming up your PC though; have you tried reseating your components? Especially the CPU, if you're comfortable with that. Also, did you mean humidity from the rain? Because I doubt there's any water in your PC, right?
Man, that sounds frustrating! I had a similar glitch where my PC would randomly shut down and reboot. I tried the auto repair but it didn't help either. I'm currently reinstalling Windows and using a winPE boot system which seems fine—no hardware issues detected. Good luck!
Yeah, my friend said something similar about CMOS batteries being too cold to work well! But I can assure you there's no moisture in my case, and the humidity is actually lower here.
