Why is My Device Stuck in Diagnostic Mode?

I'm trying to enter diagnostic mode on my 12 Pro by pressing both power buttons and plugging in the charger, but I keep seeing a screen that says 'waiting for support' and nothing else happens. The first time I accessed diagnostic mode, everything worked fine, and I was able to run tests successfully. What could be causing it to be stuck this time?

They usually need to archive the diagnostic session first. If it's still trying to connect, you might have better luck going in person. It sounds like you’re getting tier 1 support responses; pushing for a higher tier might get you somewhere.
