I recently made the switch from an Nvidia RTX 3070 to an AMD 7900XTX. After following the steps with Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) and installing the new card, I'm not getting any display when I connect my monitor via the GPU's DisplayPorts or HDMI. I've tried resetting the CMOS multiple times and even moved the GPU to a different PCI-e slot, but still no luck. I've checked the Device Manager using the motherboard's HDMI port, and only the integrated Intel drivers show up, meaning the GPU isn't recognized. The GPU lights are on, but I don't see the fans spinning, possibly due to inadequate load. I'm also concerned about the power cables; the pins 7 and 8 on the 8-pin cables seem slightly loose. Could this be causing a power issue, or is there something else I should consider?

It could be that the 6-pin section of your 8-pin connectors isn't properly connected. Make sure the hooks on the larger connector are positioned correctly. And if you're using a pigtail adapter, I'd suggest using separate cables instead. By the way, what's your power supply unit (PSU) rated at?
Are you saying there's absolutely no display on your monitor? Just to clarify, how exactly are you checking Device Manager?
I can only check by using the HDMI port on my motherboard.
I can't believe I overlooked this, but I figured out the issue! I had been plugging in the 6-pin part of the 8-pin connectors first, which was preventing a solid connection for the last two pins. There is a specific order you need to follow when plugging them in. I hope this helps someone else with a similar problem!
I have an 850W Thermaltake PSU. I'm currently splitting the power over two cables, since this card needs three 8-pin connections. Maybe I can find a third cable in my PSU box.
