I've been using an Ethernet cable for my PC for years without issues, but recently, my connection has been really unstable. While my WiFi connection is solid with a speed of 70 Mbps down and 9 Mbps up, my Ethernet keeps cutting out, making online gaming impossible. Videos seem to load fine, but I notice frequent drops when trying to browse sites like Reddit or Wikipedia, and sometimes it even tells me I have no connection. I did a speed test on my PC, and it shows 450 Mbps down and 11 Mbps up, but that hasn't helped with my online experience. What could be causing this issue?

It sounds like your Ethernet cable might be damaged. Check if it's been stepped on or crimped, or even pulled a bit too hard at the connector. Those little issues can lead to big problems. Replacing the cable might solve your issues!
I had a similar problem, and it turned out my Ethernet cable had a broken latch. It was still connected but could only manage about 80 Mbps instead of gigabit.
Testing or replacing your cable is a good first step. If that doesn't work, the next thing to look at is your network interface card (NIC) or the hub. Sometimes it's just a loose connection or a damaged port.
How would I test the cable? I did order a replacement!
I'll give that a shot! My goat, Wilson, has been known to chew on things.
