Why is my FPS lower after upgrading to a new GPU?

I recently upgraded my graphics card from a GTX 1050 Ti to a GTX 1660 that my brother gave me. The new GPU is functioning well, but I'm noticing that my frames per second (FPS) in League of Legends are slightly lower than they were with the 1050 Ti. What could be causing this?

One thing to check is whether you've plugged the video cable directly into the new GPU. It's really important because if it's still connected to the motherboard, it might cause issues like lower FPS since the CPU doesn't have an integrated GPU to handle it.

I had the same problem when I upgraded. Make sure everything is seated correctly and that your drivers are up to date too!
