Why Is My Fresh Windows 11 Install So Slow After Moving from Linux?

Hey folks, I just built this new PC and was initially running Cachy OS, which felt super snappy. I decided to switch back to Windows and now everything is crawling. For instance, launching Firefox takes about 5-10 seconds! I suspect it might be related to my SSD performance with Windows 11. Task manager shows my disk usage stuck at 50% even when bandwidth barely hits 5MB/s. Here are my specs:
- CPU: AMD 7800x3D
- GPU: AMD 9070 XT
- SSD: Samsung 990 Pro NVME 2TB
- RAM: 32GB 6000MHz Vengeance
- Motherboard: Asus B650 Plus Prime
- OS: Windows 11 Pro

I'd appreciate any advice on what might be causing this sluggish performance across the board. There's a noticeable delay of at least 5 seconds for any action to register!

If you're not concerned about losing any data, I'd recommend reformatting your SSD to NTFS and resetting your BIOS settings to default. After that, try reinstalling Windows. It could help get things running smoother!

So you think it might be a BIOS issue? My SSD is already in NTFS format. Is this just a quirk with Windows? lol

Before you dive into reformatting, ensure all your drivers are up to date. Sometimes, outdated drivers can cause performance issues after a fresh install.
