Why is my GPU temperature always reading 25C while gaming?

I recently built a PC and noticed something odd. While playing games like Cyberpunk and Anno 1800, my GPU temperature is consistently reported at 25C. Everything seems to be running smoothly, but I'm worried that this might be a sign of a problem. Has anyone else experienced this? Should I be concerned about this temperature reading?

What GPU do you have? And how are you checking the temperature? If you're looking at the performance tab in Task Manager, that could be misleading. It's often better to use dedicated software like HWinfo64 for accurate readings. If you have an NVIDIA 50 series card, just a heads up: they removed the hotspot sensor, which might be the cause of your constant 25C reading.

I have a 5080 and just downloaded HWinfo64. It shows normal temps now! I was looking at Task Manager before, and it freaked me out seeing 25C. But all seems good now, thanks for the tip!
