Why Is My GPU Underutilized and CPU Overloaded?

I've been using a Ryzen 5800X with an RTX 3070 for over four years, but after trying out the BF6 Playtest, I was really disappointed with my FPS. So, I decided to upgrade to a 5070 Ti. However, when I launched BF1 and BFV, I noticed my GPU usage is staying below 50%, while my CPU is running at 70-85%. There's also some minor stuttering in-game. I did a lot of research before this upgrade, and I thought my 5800X would work great with the 5070 Ti at 1440p. Is something wrong with my setup? I'm really feeling down about this, as I expected much smoother gameplay.

Have you tried lowering the graphics settings or resolution? Sometimes that can give your FPS a boost. Also, experiment by cranking the graphics settings up to see if that increases your GPU usage at all.

I did turn up all the GPU settings and lowered the CPU ones, and while my FPS improved, I still get small stutters occasionally when moving around. 🙁
