I recently got a long HDMI cable (10 ft) to connect my PC to my TV for streaming movies, but I've noticed some lag. Everything else looks great—the colors and picture quality are on point—but the overall smoothness is lacking, like there's stuttering. I'm wondering if I need to invest in a higher-quality HDMI cable to solve this issue or if there's another fix.

It sounds like you might be using a cable that can't handle higher refresh rates, especially if you have a 4K TV. Make sure your cable supports HDMI 2.1 and can output at least 4K at 60Hz. If not, upgrading to a better cable could definitely help.

I ended up buying a lower-quality $7 cable labelled 'UHD 1440P/2K@60Hz, 4K@30Hz.' Thanks for the heads-up! I’ll definitely look into HDMI 2.1 and 4K60 options to avoid these issues.
