Why Is My High-End PC Running So Slow All of a Sudden?

I've been experiencing strange performance issues with my high-end PC for the past couple of months. I recently returned from a month-long vacation, and now, my computer struggles to even open a Chrome tab. My setup includes an Nvidia 3070 Ti, 16GB of DDR4 RAM at 3600MHz, an Intel i9-11900K, a 500GB Samsung NVMe SSD, and additional storage with a 4TB SATA HDD along with two M.2 drives. Previously, I could run multiple browser tabs and games simultaneously without any hiccups, but it's impossible to switch tabs now. My internet speed seems fine at about 300 Mbps, but I'm noticing that my RAM usage hangs around 8GB with around 4.9GB cached. I also suspect that Corsair's iCUE software may be causing some slowdowns. Any insights or solutions?

You might want to consider running a scan with Malwarebytes. It's possible there's some malware or unwanted software consuming your resources. Also, make sure to check the storage on your SSD—having it nearly full can really slow things down. And don’t forget to ensure that your Windows and drivers are fully updated; sometimes updates can get stuck, especially if you’ve been away for a while.

I've run CHKDSK and found no issues. My SSD has about 120GB free, so it shouldn't be too full. However, I did just realize that I put my RAM back in and now it's showing 32GB instead of 16GB, but the speed dropped to 2133MHz.
