I switched from the iPhone 15 Pro to the 16 Pro in June 2025, and I've been noticing that the battery life is significantly worse. Since day one, it drains rapidly—I'm usually down to 20% battery or less after just 4 hours of screen time, mainly using apps like Reddit, WhatsApp, and Discord. I've adjusted the settings like enabling auto-brightness, using Dark Mode, turning off Always on Display, and disabling background refresh for most apps except a couple. Despite all this, my phone sometimes heats up unexpectedly. I reached out to Support, but they assured me everything's fine. Is hard resetting my phone the only solution?

Have you checked the Settings > Battery section? It shows which apps are draining your battery the most. If you can, share a screenshot of that section. It might help pinpoint what's causing the fast drain based on existing app activity.
It sounds like the apps you're using might be the main issue. I had a similar experience with battery drain while using Yahoo; it kept running a lot of background processes, which made my battery get hot and deplete quickly. Check the battery health; if it's around 85% or lower, you might need a battery replacement at an Apple store. Just a heads-up!
I've been using Google for everything, and my Battery Health shows as 100%. So I guess that’s not the issue in my case.

Unfortunately, I can't share screenshots here.
