I recently purchased 200GB of iCloud storage and I've synced my photos, but I'm noticing that my iPhone is still showing 30GB of storage being used by photos. Is there something I need to do to free up this space on my iPhone?

Just syncing your photos to iCloud doesn't always release the storage on your iPhone. It mainly just frees up space in your iCloud plan. You’ll still need to manually manage the photos and videos stored on your device.
Yeah, I had the same issue! Deleting some photos helped, but just be aware that any deletions will only clear iCloud space, not the device if you're not managing it right.
