I have a Kingston SA400S37240G SSD that's showing 100% usage even when I'm not running any applications. I checked its health status with CrystalDisk and it says it's at 64%, which seems concerning. Is it normal for an SSD to be utilizing 100% of its capacity while just sitting idle?

You should first figure out which application or service is causing the high disk usage. Sometimes, background processes can keep your SSD active without you realizing it.
64% is not a great sign for your SSD; it's more of a warning that the drive could be failing. Prioritize backing up your important files immediately! Once you've backed everything up, consider replacing the drive to avoid data loss. It might also be a good plan to reinstall your operating system on a new drive later on.
Your drive might still be functioning okay, but it seems like those two processes you mentioned are doing a lot of the heavy lifting.

I saw that CrystalDisk says it's "good," but 64% isn't ideal. I'm definitely going to look for a newer SSD soon, thanks!
